UNG GEN 1 Mentee Application

Mentoring is a partnership between two individuals, the mentor and the mentee. In the UNG Gen 1 program, the mentee is the student who desires to absorb the mentorÔÇÖs knowledge and demonstrates the ambition and desire to apply this knowledge. By completing the application below, you are signifying your desire to participate in the UNG GEN 1 mentoring program. With your participation in this program, you will gain valuable knowledge from successful first-generation faculty and staff and have opportunities to apply what you learn and utilize resources to be successful in college.

As a part of your application for participation in the UNG Gen 1 mentoring program, please submit a video of not more than 1 minute that will include: 1) your introduction - tell us about you and your personality, and 2) what you hope to gain from having a mentor and participating in this program. This video can be recorded on your phone or other personal electronic device. Email your video to Jennifer.herring@ung.edu.
