Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment registration is NOW OPEN! The deadline to register is DECEMBER 31, 2022 at NOON.
If you’re looking to find a group of women who have values similar to your own, a way to get more involved and better your leadership abilities, or simply want to make lifelong friendships that go beyond your time at college, I encourage you to sign up for Recruitment.
To register, you can use this link. Should you decide that you want to go through Recruitment, please keep in mind that you are not considered registered in our system until you have paid the $50 application fee.
We have six (6) Panhellenic Sororities at UNG, and they include:
- Alpha Gamma Delta
- Delta Phi Epsilon
- Delta Zeta
- Kappa Delta
- Phi Mu
- Sigma Kappa
The requirements to be eligible to participate in the Recruitment Process. To be eligible, you must…
- Have completed at least 12 credit hours as a full-time university student (this applies to students transferring from another accredited university)
- Be a full-time student (12 credit hours) in a baccalaureate or associate program
- Be off Quarters if you are a cadet (2.5 GPA and 14 credit hours)
- Encouraged to have a 2.5 GPA. If you do not have this GPA or higher your choices for chapters may be limited as every organization has their own standards for membership.
Recruitment is taking place January 4-7, 2023. We have mandatory Potential New Member (PNM) Orientation on January 4th at 11am in the Hoag Student Center Auditorium. During this orientation you will learn more about what to expect from recruitment and receive the t-shirt that you will wear to the first round of recruitment. The first round of events will take place immediately following the orientation with Open House, and the rest will Philanthropy Night on the 5th and Preference on the 6th. Bid Day (the Best Day!) will be on January 7th.
For women who are participating in recruitment and live in Lewis Hall, Lewis Annex, or Donovan Hall, arrangements have been made for you to be able to move in early to your room. Early Move-In will be on January 4th from 8-10am. If you would like to move-in early, please contact Stacie Rowley (Stacie.rowley@ung.edu) with your name, student ID number, and residence hall and she will get this coordinated for you. This must be done by December 15, 2022.
