Church Choir Festival

A Church Choir Festival will be presented at Dahlonega Baptist Church on Sunday, February 26, 2023, 3:00 p.m. featuring the Fellowship Presbyterian Chancel Choir (Jasper), the Christ the King Lutheran Chancel Choir (Cumming), the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Coal Mountan Stake Choir, the Dahlonega Baptist Church Worship Choir, and the UNG Singers, Le Belle Voci, and Patriot Choir & Singers Men. Each choir will perform individually, with the Festival Mass Choir concluding the afternoon program by presenting I WILL BE A CHILD OF PEACE by Elaine Hagenberg; AMAZING GRACE (MY CHAINS ARE GONE) by Joel Raney; THE BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC by Peter J. Wilhousky; and CHRIST WE DO ALL ADORE THEE by Theodore Dubois. Dr. John Broman is the Festival Director and Vivian Doublestein is the Festival Accompanist. A free will offering will be taken.
