A Little Night(hawk) Music Series

The A Little Night(hawk) Music Concert Series concludes the 2023-2024 concert season with “Cool It!,” presented by UNG Music Faculty Michael Brown on trumpet and Celeena Corbin on percussion. Come and enjoy an evening of duets and solos featuring trumpet and a variety of percussion instruments. From solo snare drum with electronics, to trumpet with vibraphone, you are sure to experience a wide selection of unique orchestrations and textures. The evening’s selections are curated to highlight the vast differences in timbre and stylistic leanings while also exploring the ways in which they can enhance each other. This concert will be performed twice. First on Monday, April 1 at 7:30pm in the Performing Arts Lobby of the UNG Gainesville Campus and then again on Sunday, April 14th at 3pm in the Gloria Shott Performance Hall on the UNG Dahlonega Campus.
