UNG’s Music Theatre Ensemble is a group dedicated to showing off the acting and singing talents of UNG’s students. Each semester the group gives a public showcase performance featuring selections from Broadway shows of all periods, built around a central theme. This Fall’s theme, “Come Alive," centers on reaching for the best in life and living it to the fullest. It will include selections from The Greatest Showman, Pippin, The Wiz, The Producers, The Sound of Music, Disney’s Hercules, Tangled, and many other shows. The students will perform as an ensemble as well as in solos, duets, and smaller groups. The show runs Thursday and Friday, October 24 & 25, at 7:30 pm in Gloria Shott Performance Hall on the Dahlonega campus.
