Best-selling author John C. Maxwell has written many books on leadership, mostly with the aim of helping practitioners become more effective. His book "The 5 Levels of Leadership" can help you understand much of his underlying philosophy, and examine your own leadership. Along the way, we will reference a few commonly reference leadership theories. Whether you are just starting to lead or already have leadership experience, this brief discussion can give you numerous ways to up your game!

Hugh Scott

Hugh Scott is Lecturer of Management for the Mike Cottrell College of Business UNG, where he teaches operations management, leadership, strategy and corporate social responsibility. Before UNG, his first career spanned 36 years of leadership in industry, leading organizations around the world. Hugh is a certified Maxwell Leadership coach; he consults in leadership, organizational change, operations, and sustainability, and maintains a number of ongoing professional and executive coaching engagements.
