Dr. Christa Grant has a combined of over 18+ years of experience working in higher education and non-profit organizations. She is currently serving as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Inclusive Excellence at The State University of New York (SUNY), System Administration, where she provides support for senior diversity officers across SUNY’s 64 campuses, leads system-wide DEI initiatives and manages state-wide scholarships. Prior to SUNY, she was the Director of Staff Learning at Year Up, a national non-profit organization, overseeing their organization-wide onboarding experience for new hires and new managers. Other higher education experiences include serving as the Assistant Dean of Intercultural Affairs and Chief Diversity Officer for Student Affairs at Union College, Director of Damietta Cross-Cultural Center and Residence Director at Siena College, NY.
