Join us for an engaging discussion with Hispanic artists from the north Georgia area and abroad. Jessica Caldas (Puerto Rico), Octavio Battaglia (Argentina), Julian Gonzalez Diaz (Mexico), Carlos Solis (Venezuela), and Catalina Gomez-Beuth (Colombia) will share insights about their art and their stories. This event is being presented as part of Roots - UNG 2024 Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibition, which was curated, crafted, and installed by students in ART 3570 Mexican and Latinx Art. This guest artists' panel is also the closing reception for the exhibition, which features forty-six artworks by UNG students and fifteen guest artworks. Refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
